New York High School Softball - Hendrick Hudson bounces Fox Lane
May 9, 2024: Montrose, NY 10548 Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fox Lane Foxes (Bedford, NY), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Sailors now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Somers for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Hendrick Hudson will battle a Tuskers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY). The Tuskers record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Fox Lane falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Mamaroneck lost 14-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY)
