In Thursday's league contest, the South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN), by a margin of 16-4.

With the triumph, South Newton moves its record to 3-12 on the year. The Rebels host Watseka (Watseka, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, May 10. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 18-5. Watseka won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Momence (Momence, IL)
