New York High School Softball - John Jay can't get by Madison
May 9, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11229 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Madison Golden Knights (Brooklyn, NY) softball team held off the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Madison moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Golden Knights travel to New Utrecht (Brooklyn, NY) to play the Utes in a non-league contest on Monday, May 13. The Utes come into the contest with a record of 4-6. New Utrecht won 17-13 in their recent non-league contest against Roosevelt (Brooklyn, NY)
In their next game, the Wolves play the Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) in a Section 1 II - C contest, on Sunday, May 12. John Jay will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Walter Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY).
