Ohio High School Baseball - Lancaster nips Canal Winchester
May 9, 2025: Canal Winchester, OH 43110 The Lancaster Golden Gales baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Canal Winchester Indians to 4 in the Golden Gales league win on Friday.
The Golden Gales now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickerington Central for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye test on Tuesday, May 13. Lancaster will play a Tigers team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Canal Winchester drops to 10-8 on the year. The Indians host Licking Valley (Newark, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 12-3. Licking Valley lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH)
