Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), 7-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Christopher moves its record to 13-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to battle the Saints in a Mount Hamilton match on Wednesday, May 14. The Saints come into the match with a record of 10-13. Santa Teresa lost 7-0 in their recent league match against Westmont (Campbell, CA)

The Longhorns now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Branham for a Mount Hamilton match on Wednesday, May 14. Leigh will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 12-9.
