The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Horizon Honors Eagles to 1 in the Griffins non-league win on Friday.

The Griffins now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tombstone for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Glendale Prep Academy will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 7-4 league win over Willcox (Willcox, AZ). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 17-7.

With the defeat, Horizon Honors drops to 15-7 on the year.
