The New Kent Trojans baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Grafton Clippers to 2 in the Trojans league win on Friday.

The Trojans now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jamestown for a Bay Rivers test on Monday, May 12. New Kent will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 16-5 league loss to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

With the defeat, Grafton drops to 13-4 on the year. The Clippers host Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) to clash with the Rams in a Bay Rivers test on Wednesday, May 14. The Rams go into the test with a record of 8-8. Lafayette won 5-0 in their recent league test against York (Yorktown, VA)
