The Homestead Spartans volleyball squad (Fort Wayne, IN), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN)

With the win, Franklin Community improves its record to 19-12 on the season. The Grizzly Cubs travel to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 18-5. Center Grove won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN)

The Spartans now own a 26-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fishers for a IBVCA battle on Friday, May 9. Homestead will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Avon (Avon, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 23-2.
