May 9, 2025: Kalamazoo, MI 49008 Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting NorthPointe Christian Mustangs (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Kalamazoo Christian advances its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Comets host Hackett Catholic Prep (Kalamazoo, MI) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a SAC test on Monday, May 12. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a record of 8-4.
The Mustangs now have a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Belding for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Monday, May 12. NorthPointe Christian will clash with a Black Knights team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Muskegon (Muskegon, MI). The Black Knights record now stands at 6-5.
