May 9, 2025: Orange, VA 22960 The Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) lacrosse routed the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 9-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Indians now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a non-league outing on Monday, May 19.
With the loss, Orange County falls to 1-9 on the year. The Fighting hornets host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to face the Flying Flucos in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. The Flying Flucos go into the outing with a record of 9-0. Fluvanna County won 10-5 in their recent non-league outing against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
