The Tunstall Trojans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Bassett Bengals to 5 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magna Vista for a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. Tunstall will confront a Warriors team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Bassett moves to 4-6 on the season. The Bengals host Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to confront the Comets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13.
