Delaware High School Lacrosse - Delmar tipped by Polytech
May 9, 2025: Delmar, DE 19940 Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 8-6 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Polytech advances its record to 6-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Caravel Academy (Bear, DE) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Monday, May 12. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 6-6. Caravel Academy lost 15-2 in their recent league game against St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE)
The Wildcats now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbridge for a Henlopen South game on Tuesday, May 13. Delmar will play a Raiders team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 2-11.
