New York High School Lacrosse - East Aurora drops to Gowanda
May 9, 2025: Gowanda, NY 14070 In Friday's league test, the Gowanda Panthers (Gowanda, NY) lacrosse squad routed the visiting East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY), by a final score of 12-6.
The Panthers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Starpoint for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 14. Gowanda will face a Spartans squad coming off a 18-5 league loss to Clarence (Clarence, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, East Aurora falls to 10-2 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Cougars enter the test with a record of 8-3. Honeoye Falls-Lima won 20-4 in their recent non-league test against Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY)
