Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), 10-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ballard improves its record to 18-10 on the year. The Bruins travel to Henry County (New Castle, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 16-7. Henry County won 9-0 in their recent league game against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)

The Indians now hold a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Assumption for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Madison Central will play a Rockets squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 22-8.
