In Friday's non-league test, the Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH) softball squad got by the host South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Indians clash with the Covington Buccs (Covington, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 10. Fort Recovery will attempt to advance on its 11-9 season record. The Buccs enter the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 11-1 league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH).

The Starfires (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Garrett (Garrett, IN). The Railroaders enter the non-league challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Garrett was nudged by Eastside (Butler, IN), 7-5, in a league challenge.
