In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Franklin Sabers softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the South Milwaukee Rockets.

The Sabers (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Kenosha Bradford (Kenosha, WI). The Red Devils come into the Southeast match with a 18-1 record. In their last match, Kenosha Bradford nipped Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL), 2-0, in a non-league match.
