The General McLane Lancers softball squad (Edinboro, PA), was edged 1-0 in Friday's league contest with the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA)

With the triumph, McDowell improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Trojans host Erie (Erie, PA) to face the Royals in a contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 3-15.

The Lancers now hold a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. General McLane will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-11.
