New York High School Softball - Lake Shore gets by Salamanca
May 9, 2025: Angola, NY 14006 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY) and the visiting Salamanca Warriors (Salamanca, NY), observed Lake Shore's softball team get by Salamanca by a tally of 2-1.
The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Griffith Institute (Springville, NY). The Griffins go into the non-league bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Griffith Institute tipped Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY), 20-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY) in a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West bout, on Saturday, May 10. Salamanca will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 13-5 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, NY).
