May 9, 2025: Stanford, KY 40484 The Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) softball routed the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), 10-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russell County for a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. Southwestern will encounter a Lakers team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 13-12.
With the loss, Lincoln County moves to 9-18 on the season. The Patriots host Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, May 12. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-9.
