The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) softball the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 10-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Nighthawks now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Northern Guilford will encounter a Titans team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 25-2.

With the loss, Marvin Ridge moves to 18-4 on the season.
