Maine High School Softball - Nokomis knocked off by Messalonskee
May 9, 2025: Oakland, ME 04963 In Friday's non-league test, the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), by a tally of 12-2.
Next, the Eagles meet the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a Class A North test, on Monday, May 12. Messalonskee will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Witches go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME).
The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Mariners go into the Class B North game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Oceanside was routed by Camden Hills (Rockport, ME), 11-2, in a non-league game.
