Kentucky High School Softball - Taylor County sneaks past Pendleton County
May 9, 2025: Campbellsville, KY 42718 In Friday's non-league match, the host Taylor County Cardinals softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Pendleton County Wildcats.
The Cardinals (23-7) will now prepare for their match against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals come into the non-league match with a 8-13 record. In their last match, Mason County nipped Holy Cross (Covington, KY), 7-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 10. Pendleton County will attempt to better on its 11-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 14-22 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Madison Central (Richmond, KY).
