The St. Edward Green Wave softball squad (Elgin, IL), was routed 11-0 in Saturday's league contest with the host Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL)

With the triumph, Bishop McNamara improves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Fightin' Irish travel to Tuscola (Tuscola, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, May 11. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 8-13. Tuscola won 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL)

The Green Wave (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The go into the Chicagoland Christian test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Chicago Hope Academy toppled Prosser (Chicago, IL), 16-7, in a non-league test.
