West Virginia High School Softball - Parkersburg South bounces Williamstown
May 10, 2021: Williamstown, WV 26187 Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Marshall for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA challenge on Tuesday, May 11. Parkersburg South will battle a Monarchs squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Williamstown falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Roane County (Spencer, WV) to battle the Raiders in a Little Kanawha challenge on Tuesday, May 11. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 6-3.
