Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets confront the Park View Dragons (South Hill, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 13. Halifax County will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Bluestone (Skipwith, VA).

The Eagles now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tunstall for a Piedmont challenge on Thursday, May 12.
