May 10, 2023: Flint, MI 48505 Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI), 4-0 in a league bout.
With the win, Powers Catholic moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to battle the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, May 15. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 9-1.
In their next game, the Lightning battle the Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 11. Lapeer will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 4-0 league win over Fenton (Fenton, MI).
