May 10, 2023: Chesterfield, VA 23838 The Matoaca Warriors crushed the visiting Middlesex Chargers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Springs for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 11. Matoaca will face a Springers team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Springers record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Chargers face the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 11. Middlesex will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 1-9 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA).
