California High School Baseball - Verdugo Hills loses to Poly
May 10, 2023: Tujunga, CA 91042 The Poly Parrots crushed the host Verdugo Hills Dons baseball team by a count of 14-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Parrots now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 13. Poly will face a Rough Riders team coming off a 15-0 league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 10-8.
Next, the Dons face the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a bout, on Friday, May 12. Verdugo Hills will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 13-10 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA).
