North Carolina High School Softball - Bear Grass Charter bounces Hobbton
May 10, 2023: Williamston, NC 27892 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), witnessed Bear Grass Charter's softball squad prevail over Hobbton by a count of 9-0.
The Bears now sport a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Roxboro Community for a non-league match on Friday, May 12. Bear Grass Charter will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.
With the loss, Hobbton moves to 5-14 on the season.
