The Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL) softball nipped the host Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Knights (9-13) will now prepare for their bout against Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Lincoln Prairie bout with a 6-16 record. In their last bout, Okaw Valley held off Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 20-6, in a league bout.
