The Mount View Mustangs softball team (Thorndike, ME), was routed 14-9 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME)

Coming up next, the Mariners encounter the Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) in a Class B North test, on Saturday, May 13. Oceanside will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 9-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Cony (Augusta, ME).

The Mustangs (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Black Bears come into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Maranacook edged St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME), 13-0, in a non-league test.
