Indiana High School Baseball - Eastside nips New Haven
May 10, 2024: New Haven, IN 46774 Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Eastside upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Blazers travel to West Noble (Ligonier, IN) to battle the Chargers in a Northeast Corner test on Saturday, May 11. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 3-13. West Noble won 4-3 in their recent league test against Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN)
With the defeat, New Haven falls to 4-15 on the season. The Bulldogs host DeKalb (Waterloo, IN) to confront the Barons in a Northeast 8 outing on Monday, May 13. The Barons go into the outing with a record of 9-14. DeKalb lost 4-3 in their recent league outing against Bellmont (Decatur, IN)
