May 10, 2024: Pekin, IL 61554 The Pekin Dragons got by the visiting Pontiac Indians baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 6-18 record. They take the field next when they host East Peoria for a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, May 14. Pekin will face a Raiders team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Streator (Streator, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 22-6.
Next, the Indians face the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 17. Pontiac will attempt to move on its 7-17 season record.
