Virginia High School Soccer - Manor knocks off Heritage
May 10, 2024: Portsmouth, VA 23701 Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Wednesday, May 15. Manor will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Mighty Bookers enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, VA).
The Hurricanes now possess a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kecoughtan for a Peninsula challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Heritage will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-7.
