May 10, 2024: Harrisville, RI 02830 The Burrillville Broncos baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties to 2 in the Broncos non-league victory on Friday.
The Broncos (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Moses Brown ran past Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 12-8, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Mount St. Charles Academy falls to 0-3 on the season. The Mounties travel to Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to encounter the Villa Novans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Villa Novans come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Woonsocket lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
