Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Wilmington drops to Melrose
May 10, 2024: Wilmington, MA 01887 Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), 12-7 in a league battle.
The Red Raiders now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stoneham for a Middlesex battle on Wednesday, May 15. Melrose will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Watertown (Watertown, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-11.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) in a Middlesex battle, on Monday, May 13. Wilmington will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 14-11 league loss to Winchester (Winchester, MA).
