Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Minutemen now own a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Holmes for a Ohio Cardinal challenge on Saturday, May 11. Lexington will battle a Knights squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Knights record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Columbian falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 13-10. Upper Sandusky lost 14-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Edison (Milan, OH)
