The New Castle Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Cowan Blackhawks to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, New Castle moves its record to 6-15 on the year. The Trojans host Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to clash with the Arabians in a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, May 14. The Arabians come into the game with a record of 15-8.
