May 10, 2024: Kaukauna, WI 54130 Spectators at Friday's league match between the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (Kaukauna, WI) and the visiting Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI), witnessed Kaukauna's softball squad prevail over Kimberly by a count of 11-1.
The Galloping Ghosts now sport a 20-0 record. They play next when they travel to Appleton East for a Fox Valley Association match on Tuesday, May 14. Kaukauna will face a Patriots squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Freedom (Freedom, WI). The Patriots record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Kimberly moves to 10-8 on the season. The Papermakers host Kenosha Bradford (Kenosha, WI) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, May 11.
