Wisconsin High School Softball - Slinger bounces Kewaskum
May 10, 2024: Slinger, WI 53086 Slinger Owls (Slinger, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kewaskum Indians (Kewaskum, WI), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Owls now sport a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Bend West for a North Shore challenge on Monday, May 13. Slinger will face a Spartans squad coming off a 17-0 league win over West Bend East (West Bend, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 17-4.
With the loss, Kewaskum falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Wauwatosa East (Wauwatosa, WI) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 7-14. Wauwatosa East lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI)
