Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mabel-Canton for a Southeast challenge on Friday, May 10. Southland will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.
