Wisconsin High School Softball - Mineral Point bounces Southwestern
May 10, 2024: Mineral Point, WI 53565 The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) softball routed the visiting Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI), 11-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Pointers (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Bulldogs go into the SWAL bout with a 13-2 record. In their last bout, Boscobel toppled River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Boscobel for a SWAL bout on Monday, May 13. Southwestern will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-3.
