Kentucky High School Baseball - Great Crossing loses to Beechwood
May 10, 2025: Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Great Crossing Warhawks (Georgetown, KY), 14-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Beechwood moves its record to 22-9 on the season. The Tigers host Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY) to battle the Thorobreds/Fillies in a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. The Thorobreds/Fillies come into the match with a record of 28-2. Harrison County won 15-5 in their recent league match against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY)
The Warhawks now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scott County for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. Great Crossing will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 20-7.
