May 10, 2025: Union City, NJ 07087 Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Union City moves its record to 17-6 on the season. The Soaring Eagles host Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ) to battle the Redwings in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. The Redwings come into the match with a record of 13-7. Hoboken won 16-5 in their recent non-league match against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ)
The Bengals now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belleville for a SEC - Liberty match on Monday, May 12.
