New Jersey High School Baseball - Columbia edges Bordentown
May 10, 2025: Maplewood, NJ 07040 The Columbia Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Bordentown Scotties to 5 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
The Cougars now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Livingston for a SEC - American test on Monday, May 12. Columbia will play a Lancers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 15-5.
With the defeat, Bordentown drops to 11-10 on the year. The Scotties travel to Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ) to play the Northstars in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Northstars go into the test with a record of 7-9. Nottingham won 11-10 in their recent non-league test against Princeton (Princeton, NJ)
