The Brother Rice Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 5 in the Warriors league win on Saturday.

The Warriors now own a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to University of Detroit Jesuit for a Catholic Central test on Wednesday, May 14.

With the defeat, Central Catholic drops to 5-16 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to Findlay (Findlay, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 12-6. Findlay won 3-0 in their recent league test against Clay (Oregon, OH)
