Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Western Wayne holds off Forest City
May 10, 2025: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 The Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) baseball the visiting Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), 8-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Monday, May 12. Western Wayne will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-13.
With the defeat, Forest City drops to 1-8 on the year. The Foresters travel to Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA) to clash with the Chargers in a Lackawanna 4 challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Carbondale Area lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Elk Lake (Dimock, PA)
