The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) and the visiting West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN), saw Pioneer's baseball team get by West Central by a tally of 10-9.

The Panthers (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Caston (Fulton, IN). The Comets enter the Hoosier North battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Caston held off Oregon-Davis (Hamlet, IN), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Culver Community Cavaliers (Culver, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 15. West Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
