The St. Croix Central Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Unity Eagles to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Amery for a Middle Border test on Tuesday, May 13. St. Croix Central will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Luck/Frederic (Luck, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Unity drops to 3-10 on the year. The Eagles host Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, May 16. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 6-10.
