Illinois High School Soccer - St. Laurence knocks off Stagg
May 10, 2025: Palos Hills, IL 60465 The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) soccer overwhelmed the host Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now hold a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale South for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. St. Laurence will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Stagg moves to 7-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to encounter the Griffins in a SouthWest Suburban Blue challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Griffins go into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Lincoln-Way East won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
